mike wrote on Friday, October 31, 2014 (PDT):The 101 Jr. came out in 1939 with rubber tires. But sometime in 1942 they were changed to steel wheels due to the War effort. The grill style was also changed that year to the newer style louvered grill and oil bath air cleaner was moved from front of radiator to side of engine. The steel wheel models had a B transmission with four gears for field use with no road gear.
